Vintage Ross Simons Sterling Silver Ruby Sliding Heart Pendant

Made for Ross Simons and dating to the 1980s or so, may I offer this Sterling Silver (hallmarked as pictured) curved heart pendant set with natural faceted red rubies. The stones measure 2.5mm each and are a nice pinky-red color. Most of Ross Simon's jewelry back in the old days was made in Thailand and since gemstones were still plentiful at that time, synthetics were not even considered in the manufacture. Size is 5/8" high x 3/4" wide. Weight is 2.2 grams. Condition is very fine with perhaps a light rhodium overlaid over the silver. The pendant "slides" onto a chain so all that's needed now is the right one - the chain shown in my pics is for display purposes only.
