Step into the charm of the late 1920s with this stunning 6" Roseville Dahlrose bowl, a true testament to American artistry during the golden era of Art Pottery. Produced circa 1928, this piece showcases Roseville’s signature deep relief floral design—sunny yellow dahlias with richly sculpted leaves, all set against a moody blue matte glaze. It’s marked 428-6” on the base with a clear, authentic script.
Originally crafted as a console bowl—meant for floral arrangements or as the centerpiece on a sideboard or parlor table—it remains incredibly versatile today. Imagine it filled with pastel mints or wrapped candies, just like Grandma might’ve done. Or let it stand alone as a catchall on an entryway table, dresser, or vanity. Its nostalgic profile makes it equally fitting in vintage decor, cottagecore spaces, or eclectic maximalist rooms.

I believe yours is a reproduction. If you look at 428-6 in blue online, you'll see the difference. Esty has one very similar to yours and calls it a reproduction.
