Ridgways was a pottery manufacturer located in Stoke-on-Trent, England. Founded in 1866 by Edward John Ridgway, the company became known for producing high-quality ceramics, including the Chester pattern. Stoke-on-Trent, often called "The Potteries," is famous for its pottery industry, with Ridgways being one of its notable manufacturers. Ridgways Pottery later merged with the Booths & Colclough China Company during the 1940s, and later became a part of Royal Doulton in 1972.
