Vintage Ricki Lang for NUIT plissé pleated drop-waist fairycore dress

This incredible vintage, and rare, dress by Ricki Lang for NUIT may be the most romantic, fairycore piece ever! Gorgeous pink dress with tight plissé pleats, a drop waist and floral tapestry bodice trimed with faux pearls. Delicious! Ricki Lang made a name in the 70s and 80s by creating new contemporary looks that combined dress styles from previous decades. Her work for NUIT, a luxe brand, was sold at luxury department stores, including the now-defunct I. Magnin. This vintage example is in great vintage condition. The plisse pleats offer a decent amount of stretch across the chest and through the hips and legs, though the waist itself is structured -- and, based on flat measurements, would fit up to a 30" waist.
