Vintage Rhinestone Clef Shaped Brooch – Rare 40s-50s Book Piece This beautiful vintage openwork, dimensional brooch is a book piece featured on page 195 of “20th Century Costume Jewelry 1900-1980” – Second Edition – by Katie Joe Aikins with special collaboration from Ronna Lee Aikins. In 2008, this 1940s-50s brooch was valued at $70-$90. Polished silvertone finish. Described in the book as “Marquees entwine with chaton-cut clear rhinestones. From the 1940s to 1950s. Unsigned. Resembles a music clef.” Measurements Approx. 3-1/4” L x 1-3/8”W Era 1940s-1950s Closure Rollover clasp Condition Excellent vintage condition. The only reason this is not being listed in mint condition is that rollover clasp is tight, but works properly. It is hard to believe that this gorgeous brooch is 70-80 years old!
