Vintage Reversible Faux Mink Coat in Dark Brown/Black. Weatherproof. Size M/L

Open to offers. No tags to give any clues about this statement coat’s origin, so it’s time to be a vintage detective. The faux fur is a delightful mix of brown hues, appears similar to mouton or mink and is very soft and warm. Of course, even mob wives and glamour queens of yesteryear got caught in the rain unexpectedly, which makes the reversible factor of this coat a feature that is truly timeless. The silhouettes of the high collar, and cuffed sleeves (if you decide to fold them up of course) keep you looking elegant regardless of which side you decide to wear. Coat has a center zip with silver hardware, but it can be discreetly tucked in if you want to complement your outfit by keeping it unzipped. So in 2025 I raise my glass to the glamorous women of yesteryear who rocked this number, and hope that its next owner adds more adventures to its story. Pockets on the inside and outside of both sides of a jacket certainly help with that process regardless of era! Roughly guessing this would work on a S/M/L while unzipped, as its length isn’t too long and the fit is spacious but not baggy. Could be a different story when zipped up for those of us with wider shoulders, a bigger chest, or needing extra layers.
