Revere Ware introduced stainless steel cookware without copper bottoms in the early 1960s. During this period, the company began to implement cost-cutting measures, which included reducing the thickness of the copper cladding and eventually producing cookware with stainless steel alone. In the 1990s, Revere Ware began manufacturing some of its products overseas to reduce costs.
