Vintage Repurposed Wire Fish Trap with Vintage Billiard Balls Found Object Decor

Vintage repurposed vintage wire basket filled with worn pool balls, blending industrial patina, bold color, and sculptural form into a striking display object. This piece pairs an old wire basket — likely once used as a minnow or bait trap — with a set of vintage pool billiard balls, creating a visually bold found-object display. The wire basket has been naturally crumpled and collapsed over time, giving it a sculptural, organic form. The metal shows a rich, bronzed patina. One area of the side-base has protruding wire ends; these can be easily turned inward with pliers or oriented away when displaying. Inside are 12 pool balls total, including one white cue ball. The colored balls show heavy, authentic wear: chalk residue, scuffs, dings, and surface aging consistent with mid-to-late 20th century commercial play. The cue ball appears newer than the rest.
