Vintage Reed & Barton Cribbage Board Chest

This item is a distinctive hand-crafted cribbage board chest made in the USA by the Eureka Manufacturing Company, a Division of Reed & Barton, America’s foremost Silversmith’s since 1824. Crafted from American hardwood, stained in Concord Cherry, and then hand rubbed for a rich, lasting finish, making this chest one of a kind. The chest includes a plush forest green velvet lining and a solid pewter ornament adorns the lid. This is a lovely piece to store decks of cards and/game pieces. Included is the original Reed & Barton cribbage instructions. This chest originally contained two decks of cards and six score pegs electroplated in gold and palladium (which are missing).
