Up for sale is a vintage red and white spongeware stoneware tray with six heart-shaped wells, likely produced by an American studio pottery in the 1980s–1990s. The piece is unmarked, as many small-batch spongeware items were. Features: • red sponge design • Heart-shaped body with 6 recessed heart wells • Glossy white glaze, unglazed foot • Heavy, durable stoneware construction Uses: Candy tray, votive candle holder, decorative kitchen display, Valentine's décor, or country farmhouse accent.
