Vintage Red Paisley Adjustable Button Suspenders (Made in West Germany)

No materials tag. Vintage - made in West Germany (1989 or earlier). Curious fabric - it is not the elastic found most often on suspenders and if it is silk it is a rougher, more substantial material. The brown button loops are leather. Heavier, gold colored metal, adjustment bars. Very subtle paisley pattern - you can only see it at reading distance.
