Vintage Red Mill Horned Owl

Vintage horned owl figurine sitting on a log. Made by in the USA by Red Mill Mfg. from a unique combination of crushed pecan shells and resin to simulate the look of real hand carved wood. The sculpture was then artisan stained and lacquered, making each piece unique. Made with great attention to detail and lovely from every angel, the rich dark color and weight at close to 1lbs, is very similar to the look of carved iron wood but much more detailed. The Red Mill Mfg. was originally located in Fishersville, Virginia and produced figurines up until 2001. Bears the original manufacturer foil sticker and the name Red Mill is signed on the back of the log as if hand carved.
