Vintage Red Jade & Sterling Silver Drop Earrings; Chinese Good Fortune Symbol

This is a magnificent pair of red jade and sterling silver Chinese blessing earrings for pierced ears. Details: ***Measurements (approximate): 1.10” long. Top is 0.35” wide. Drop is 0.45” wide. ***Weight: 7.6 grams total weight. ***Markings: Hallmarked “925, CHINA” on reverse with maker’s mark present (three letters inside diamond shaped lozenge). Center letter is W. Unable to make out the rest. Butterfly backings hallmarked “925.” ***Condition: Very good preowned vintage condition (pre-1980’s). Shows signs of wear commensurate with age, including: surface scratches, patina, tarnish, and general wear. Sterling butterfly backings are not original.
