Sharpening stone has the patina of age and use. The stone itself measures 6" long by 2" wide and has three small chips on one edge, but otherwise has no major cracks or other damage from use. Comes in a fitted 2 piece wood box for storage when not in use. Wood box appears to be handmade and aside from the usual wear on the surface due to age, handling and storage over the years, the case is intact and in good overall condition for its age.
