Vintage - Rare - Old - Solid Wood Crafted - Unique - Collectible - Hand Carved

If you’re an Elephant lover or just a lover and collector of very rare and unique finds then this one might be just for you. Unfortunately there are no markings on this work of art but this is what you can observe by looking at it, feeling it and holding it. It’s an old piece, vintage at least and hand carved out of solid wood. It’s very well done and it has excellent characteristics representing a real elephant. Its tusks as well as it’s toe nails (two are missing) & eye sock insets (one is missing) appear to look just like ivory or at the very least a material to look like and represent a real look. It’s a very dark in color piece and with the slightly off white accents (tusks, toe nails, eye insets) it has a great look to it. It’s about 8” at its longest point and about 6” tall at the raised tusk. Weighing in at over 1 1/2 pounds it makes for a very unique and impressive work of art to display in any home or office. And even though it’s missing a couple of its ivory or ivory looking toe nails and one eye socket inset those do not distract from its overall look, it’s still a great looking piece.
