Vintage Rare One of a kind Carl Erickson Controlled Bubble Amethyst Purple Compote Vase Beautiful Modern art piece from the late 20th Century attributed to Carl Erickson. Crafted in Amethyst Purple glass featuring the characteristic bubble design in clear glass at the base. Great Condition, no chips or cracks. Underside of base that touches table does have a few scratches. DIMENSIONS Measures 6" tall and 7.5" round at top. COUNTRY OF ORIGIN USA ABOUT THE ARTIST Carl Erickson founded Erickson Glass Works in Bremen, Ohio with his brother in 1943. While apprenticing under his father, a Swedish emigrant, as a teenager, he developed a high level of craftsmanship which led him to place a strong emphasis on quality.
