Vintage Rare 1940's Japanese Wood Burnings Wall Décor These pieces are handmade and in beautiful condition. One bird is missing its beak, but this is just a small piece of red fabric or paper- I leave that to the buyer's preference. Each Wood Burning has a saying written in calligraphy. The Bird piece approximates to a life with someone that carries deep feeling and affection. The second piece is difficult to translate. As far as I can tell it has to do with long life, but I am rusty on my characters. Both pieces have the stamp of their artist.
