Vintage Radio shack 10-Digit Scientific Calculator EC-4032

This item is a Radio Shack EC-4032 10-Digit Scientific Calculator and in excellent condition. It has been tested and everything is working as it should. The LCD display is clean and clear with no issues and excellent contrast. All the keys work and feel fine. The internal battery holder is in excellent shape and will come with a new LR927H coin battery already installed inside. Also included is the hard clam shell cover that the calculator snaps into. All pictures shown are of the actual calculator and hard-shell cover you will receive. The EC-4032 is held into place quite firmly within the clam shell. In fact, without knowing how to remove the calculator, it is quite difficult to remove. The secret is to gently pull up and back on the open top lid which will quietly and discretely release the calculator. The EC-4032 is both battery powered and solar powered. You can test the battery of your EC-4032 by holding your thumb over the solar cell for a couple of seconds. If the internal battery is dead, the LCD display will dim down to nothing in just a second or two. A good battery will keep your EC-4032 working in very low light conditions. To replace the battery, remove 6 screws from the back cover. The EC-4032 does not have an OFF button or a way of turning it off. It will automatically turn off after about 8 minutes of inactivity. This item has been used and is in excellent working condition. It is also from a smoke and pet free home.
