Vintage REI shorts, men’s medium saddle Brown Belted Mesh Grip Liner Triathalon

Not even sure what these are. The part in normal bike shorts that’s the gel part is much thinner and the fabric is similar like a soft flannel kinda velvety. Not so much like padding but more like to prevent issues from the mesh. Slightly padded just due to fabric but not like padded bike shorts. Size medium vintage. Check measurements to ensure fit. Waist lying flat: 14.5 inches Inseam: 7 inches
