Vintage RARE 26" Simon & Halbig K*R Big Eye #65 German Character Child Doll

She produced in early Germany 1900's. She has the #117 dolly face "Character Child with Naughty Eyes" (the only ones made with those huge round eyes). Her head swivels and her chunky composition ball jointed/wood body gives shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees posability. Stringing is still inside body which needs to be tightened and handled gently. Height is 26" tall, has a short mohair/human hair? wig with slight curl, hand painted feathered eyebrows, top & bottom hand painted lashes with remnants of real lashes left on right eye, large glass open/close sleep eyes, high color rosy blushed cheeks, open mouth with four upper teeth and pierced ears which are missing earrings. There is a chip in her right eyelid which can't be seen when eyes are open and a few minor compo chips here and there, all shown in photos. Her fashion is stunning and seems to be all original as well. Underneath this lovely silk & embroidered dress is a white cotton shirt with delicate lace trim by each shoulder, pantaloons, full slip, textured over-the-knee socks and leather shoes with suede embellishment that buttons at the ankle. Upper left area behind the dress has a tear. She's an amazing doll, a gem of a treasure, and is looking for a loving home. I sure hope it will be yours.
