Vintage Quahog Clam Shell Earrings, Screw Back Gold Plated, 1940s

*Description: This is a beautiful pair of screw back earrings from the 1940s with Quahog Clam Shell, purple and white, set in a silver tone white gold plated base. The shell is cold to the touch. I acid tested the silver base for 10K gold and it tested as gold. The glue is visible on the back due to age but everything is securely in place. This is a unique pair of beautiful vintage earrings and would make a great addition to any vintage jewelry collection and would be a great pair of statement earrings for both casual or formal dress. *Approximate Measurements: Length - 7/8 Inch, Width - 3/4 Inch *Condition: Great vintage condition.
