This is a fun example of a vintage game, Pythagoras, 179 Puzzle Game is a geometric puzzle game manufactured by Tryne Games, Circa 1961. Like tangram, it is a dissection puzzle of 7 polygon pieces, which are put together to form shapes/pattern given only an outline.
Pythagoras (545 B.C.), a Greek Philosopher and Mathematician who developed mathematical proofs, explored geometric proportions such as the golden ratio. His Pythagorean Theorem, a right-angled triangle, the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the lengths of the other two sides, now an integral part of architecture, engineering and physics.
