Marked “PURE ALUMINUM made in U.S.A.” on the bottom, this dome-shaped kettle features a charming red arched handle and a wooden whistle cap. Its simple, functional design is typical of the 1940s–1950s — a perfect blend of form and utility. The surface of the aluminum has markings that indicate this was made from spun aluminum, which was a cost-effective means of WWII and post war metal goods production.
