Vintage Poupee Millet Doll

This 1998 Poupee Millet is signed by Serge (the artist). A rare collector's item that features a flower on the head with a bee encircling the flower with a beautiful matching/color fabric. This doll measures about 12 inches toes to head. This doll is like new and there are no blemishes. This has been purchased and owned by one person from a pet free and smoke free home. In 1983 the “Poupee Millet” studio opened in Paris, France with two artists: Serge Chichportich, born in Paris, France, and Pablo Pares, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Of the two original artists, Serge is the only one still creating the original Poupee Millet. Each piece is truly a work of art – individually handcrafted and hand sewn and filled with millet, featuring fanciful headdresses and a myriad of exotic fabrics. These dolls are great conversation pieces and look great displayed anywhere in your home whether it be propped up against something, sitting displayed in or on anything, or even in the coordinating furniture by the same artist (see my other listings in my closet for the furniture).
