A Moorcroft Hibiscus pattern bowl is a piece of art pottery featuring a floral design, specifically hibiscus flowers, against a background of rich colors like green and blue. These bowls are highly collectible and often feature hand-painted designs by Moorcroft Pottery, a British company known for its distinctive art pottery.  The Hibiscus pattern was first produced in 1949 by Walter Moorcroft, and many pieces were made between 1953 and 1978.  The original paper label signifies William Moorcroft, the founder, held a Royal Warrant as "Potter to the Late Queen Mary," highlighting the esteemed quality and recognition of his work. Used c1953-1978
