Vintage Plus Size 100% Wool Leslie Fay Swing Coat in Red with Black Velvet Trim

Vintage 100% Wool Swing Car Coat in Red with Black Velvet Trim by Leslie Fay, US size missing size and materials tag, estimated to fit sizes XL, XXL, XXXL, 0X, or 1X depending on your hip measurements (all measurements included below—women’s plus sizing isn’t standardized unfortunately), great vintage condition, general wear, but no significant flaws. Two small flaws that I do want to note are a fairly short slash in the inner lining around where the fabric care tag would have been, which is visible in the last two images, and one small moth hole on the right arm (left side in image 9). This is a truly beautiful coat with a timeless, elegant style. Featuring one large black velvet button at the collar to match the collar and trim at the cuffs, followed by invisible buttons down the front. There's even a spare velvet button sewn into the lining, just in case! (See last image.) The silhouette of the coat falls almost straight down and should fall below your knees (and, depending on your height, end anywhere from your calves to your shin to your ankles). Pit to pit: 23" (falls straight down, so waist and hips are also ~23") Length: ~46" Shoulder: 21"* Shoulder Seam: 12" Sleeve: 27" Armhole: ~12" *this first shoulder measurement goes was taken from the base of the inner shoulder pads straight across because the shoulder seam for this coat begins almost right next to the collar. The subsequent two measurements (shoulder seam + sleeve) are taken from this seam.
