Classic 1930s pink Depression glass oval platter, 13" x 10" x 1.5". Pressed in the U.S. during the Great Depression (approx. 1929–1939), pieces like this were often given away at dime stores, in cereal boxes, or at movie theaters to encourage shoppers when money was tight. That’s why this glass became a symbol of comfort and optimism, especially in American kitchens. The warm blush color and molded ribbed / fluted rim give it that iconic Art Deco farmhouse look that blends beautifully with cottagecore, vintage kitchen, and shabby chic tablescapes. Perfect for cookies, fruit, bar display, or vanity jewelry catchall. Lovely gentle swirl molding in the well, and a low profile that sits nicely on a counter or shelf. No maker’s mark present (common for early mass glass).
Condition: very good vintage — light surface wear from age, no chips, cracks, or repairs noted.
