This elegant women's jacket features a luxurious black texture with a stylish brown collar. Perfect for adding sophistication to any outfit. The coat is made of Persian Lamb wool and accented with a soft brown mink collar. Originally sold by Donaldson's department store in Minneapolis.
The curly wavy texture of the black fur is Persian Lamb and provides glamor and warmth. Persian Lamb is also known by the names Astrakhan or Karakul. These coats were popular in the late 50s through 60s.
Inside one of the velvet lined pockets is a Fur Label Authority Tag which was used to indicate that a fur product was manufactured under fair labor standards and in compliance with Fur Products Labeling Act.
The coat should have two hook and eye closures but one of the eye pieces is missing.
The coat has wide bracelet sleeves (gets wider at the wrist)
Adding to the elegance of the jacket, it is fully lined with silky material that is embossed with flowers. It has been monogramed on the lining with letters "AMB"
There is no size tag but according to the fit on the mannequin and measurements, I believe it is a small. Please cross reference measurements for accurate fit
Measurements laying flat
