Vintage Pauline Rader signed Trembler Cicada Brooch brass pearl and crystal

This gorgeous Pauline Rader articulated cicada brooch is in fabulous condition. It has very minimal signs of wear, consistent with age and use. It measures about 2 1/8" long and is about 1 1/2" wide. The top wings are mounted with tiny springs and the wings "tremble". No crystals are missing. One wing will tremble more than the other, but it still moves fine. The body is a shiny gold-toned brass. The thorax looks to be made from faux pearl. Clear crystal rhinestones embellish the base of the wings. The eyes are deep emerald green crystals. Pin and clasp work great.
