Vintage Paula Cahen d'Anvers Purple Cardigan Jacket 100% Wool Size 1 *READ

This beautiful purple cardigan is by Paula Cahen d'Anvers. I always know when I touch something if it is a quality piece. You can tell by the texture, softness and weight of fabrics and knits almost instantly. This was one of those pieces. I knew the moment I touched it that it was something special. I was not familiar with d'Anvers brand but I can tell luxury when my fingers hit upon it. This sweater jacket is soft and lush and 100% wool. It's also a gorgeous purple color. It is vintage, but still in very good condition. It is collared and has pockets and check out those buttons!! They are 1970's fabulous for sure!! This brand however only dates back to 1994, so the retro buttons are an intentional nod to the bygone era. Hey, if you are looking for fashion trends that were fabulous the 60's and 70's certainly had a lot to use. :) This is an Argentina brand so the tag says 100% Lana which is wool. And it is a size 1 which is a small by USA standards. Just to make sure you got a better sense of size though, the armpit to armpit measurement is 18" Hope that helps. It's gorgeous. Happy Shopping!
