Vintage Patchwork Quilt 102”x 98”

This patchwork quilt was made by sewing together various 1940’s and 1950’s cotton fabric scraps into a larger design with multiple geometric patterns and colors. This quilt is shown on a queen-sized bed but at 102”x98” it could also fit a California King bed. Nana’s circle of ladies in the 1950’s Colorado Springs Home Demonstration Club regularly met and designed/made quilts such as this one. The quilts were recently found, having been preserved in trunks, after nearly 70 years. This is a quilt that has a brown blanket sewn in for warmth and sewn to backing material. It needs finishing.
