Vintage Pair Nesting Woven Wicker Rooster Hens Chicken Farmhouse Baskets Folky

A pair (set of 2) of woven wicker baskets in the shape of hens, one nests inside the other in size. Hand applied red stain (?) with cute little reed wings and wooden beaks, waddles and combs. Largest one measures about 6” high, 7” wide and 11” long. The red is somewhat uneven on the faces, a little darker red on one side, but no damage I can find.
