Vintage Overcoat Women's Winter Coats Olympic Memorabilia Sports Memorabilia 1970s Wool Coat Women's Clothing XX Olympiad Olympics. What a rare find! This women's vintage cream overcoat with black trim was made in Western Germany to be worn by an athletic team member of the XX Olympiad, in 1972! The a-line cut, cold weather coat, with front side seams and darts is made of 80% wool, and 20% mohair, is double breasted with black cording, a back belt accented with two buttons, and a stand up collar and cuffs that are made of black faux fur. The body of the coat is lined with a pretty paisley fabric, and the side pockets and sleeves(which are fitted at the cuff on the inside) have a cream colored coordinating lining. This below the knee coat fits like a small, for it was made for a female athlete to wear. These are the approximate measurements, which were taken while the garment was lying flat: Bust: 37 inches Waist: 35 inches Neck seam to shoulder seam edge: 4-1/2 inches Length, from top of shoulder seam edge to bottom of coat: 40 inches Please remember that an overcoat allows for 2-4 inches of excess room for the layers of clothing underneath, as an overcoat does not fit skin tight.
