Vintage Otagiri brand, Lotus design set of lidded Ginger Jar and Cup

This lovely Otagiri vanity set is based on a shiny black glaze with a gold and pink lotus flower and lily pad design. The ginger jar with top is 6.5" tall and at its widest - 3.5", the base is 2.25" in diameter. The cup is 3 5/8" tall, with a base of 2" and a top diameter of 2.5". The cup has a golden glazed lip on the finely painted and glazed ceramic set. The set was made in Japan in the 1980's and has been stored in a non-smoking household and never used
