Vintage Original New Zealand Police Bobby Helmet 57/7

This style of helmet was worn by New Zealand Police officers from the 1970s until 1995, when it was discontinued. Original New Zealand Police Bobby Helmet in Australia by Mountcastle Pty. Ltd. of Brisbane Very similar to current British Isles issue but the cloth is mid to dark blue and not black. Comes complete with chin strap and stylized helmet plate with intertwined initial N.Z.P. surrounded by fern fronds beneath a Queen's Crown. Leather helmet band remains showing only little use and ready to display
