clouddancerltd @smultron He got it from Grandma Leona Who is Gone Now. And we aren't allowed to keep things if it's a relative that passes we have a give away. where people give now a days money to help pay feast costs. years ago we gave it to folks of another clan in trade for things needed.

It is only to be given freely. you may gather it by going out and talking to it, explaining and thanking it for what it's about to do for you. only take a small amount from each family member(plant) This helps it and doesn't destroy it. say prayers of thanks. In this way you can pass it on.
