Vintage Occupied Japan lacquer trinket box

Approx 8” x 7” x 3”, this old box is hand painted with a traditional Japanese design featuring flora and fauna. Hinges are very solid. S B Made in Occupied Japan maker’s mark. Patina on the top and sides. Obvious blemishes on this mid century used lacquer box.
