Vintage Novelty Whale Ashtray with Smoking Blowhole Incense‎ Burner Scrubby Hold

Vintage Novelty Whale Ashtray with Smoking Blowhole. Could be used as an incense burner, a kitchen scrubby holder, a ring dish, or a soap dish (for a small bar). This would make a great gift for a whale lover! It's so cute! The original idea is that you place a smoking object into the slot beneath the whale and after a minute or so smoke comes out of the blowhole. I haven't tried it so don't know if that happens. The dish doesn't smell of any kind of smoke so I don't know if it's ever been used like that. Measures approximately 3" tall x 5" wide x 3" deep. No chips, cracks, or crazing. In excellent condition. From a non-smoking home. No markings or branding.
