Vintage Northwood Uranium Custard Glass Peacock & Urn Bowl, 10”

This beautiful vintage Northwood bowl showcases the classic Peacock and Urn pattern in luminous custard glass that glows a brilliant neon green under UV light. It features exquisite raised detailing of a peacock amid foliage, ruffled edges, and a glossy, heavy finish — a hallmark of early Northwood craftsmanship. Northwood (Founded 1887) was founded by Harry Northwood. The “N in a circle with an underline” is Northwood’s authentic mark, used mainly from 1905–1920s. Frank and John Fenton, of Fenton Art Glass, were inspired by the success of Northwood and other early glassmakers. Fenton initially bought blanks from Northwood and others to hand-paint before they began producing their own glass in 1907.
