Vintage North Carolina “The Tar Heel State” souvenir collector plate made by Lifetime China Co. of Alliance, Ohio in the Prairie Gold pattern. Semi-vitreous china plate measures about 10 inches across with a multicolor center design featuring Chimney Rock, Bridal Veil Falls, Grandfather Mountain swinging bridge, Biltmore House, Wright Brothers Memorial, Andrew Johnson House, Fontana Dam, Great Smoky Mountains, Cherokee Indians, cardinal, and dogwood blossoms around a bold “North Carolina” banner. Wide gold floral filigree border with gold rim. Perfect for a state plate collection, travel wall display, or North Carolina decor. Some minor wear to design.
