Leather and interiors are cleaned and conditioned. Without tears or signifigant distressing to the red leather. Lemonwood pegs are coming up into the insole area as shown in pics; this is not a manufacturing flaw. It’s due to the natural materials shifting over time and can be fixed with: new insoles, sanding down the pegs or having a knowledgeable cobbler do a repair; priced accordingly.
