Vintage Noah's Ark Book Ends Handmade Handpainted Unique!

Adorable set of handpainted hand made bookends. The two handpainted plates slide into the middle slot in each of the bookends. I don't know if this was to be able to change plates which would not be a rare thing if you can paint this beautifully. The animals are very detailed and there is a lacquered finish on them. The back is not painted, they can only be displayed on one side. Measure each 8" tall by 6" wide
