The shoulder to shoulder is 15" for small shoulders, and then there is plenty of material for the body. It is made out of 100% acetate, it mimics silk feel with slight shine. It has side pockets and is very roomy. There is a small hole on the back of the neck, does not affect the integrity of the piece.
