Vintage Nicol Sayre Paper Mache Santa w/ Snowman Box Spirit of Christmas 13" EUC Newly minted as a vintage piece, this is Nicol Sayer collectible paper mache candy box, "The Spirit of Christmas" featuring a green clad folk art Santa with a long white beard, a small snowman buddy on a round base. Santa serves as a lid for the box or can be taken off and displayed separately. 2005 Condition: Pre-owned in delightfully aged condition. Structure of the figurine and the base is very sound. Box serves as a stand and storage, and is very strong. The figurine is hardy, though there are a couple of chips of paint that are missing. Easily touched up or leave as is and allow age to provide additional charm. Please note, there are a couple of extra stars in the box. One is sequined similar to the star that Santa is holding, presumed to be a star that the snowman was holding at one time. The other star is made of wood and I can't find a reference to where that was on the box originally, if at all. Both are included. Measures about 13" in height by about 6.5" wide.
