Vintage New Years Cover-Up

I'm unsure the origin of this style (so please don't come at me for my lack of knowledge 🙏), I don't know if it's actually Chinese, Japanese or Korean or something completely different, but I do know that it's absolutely gorgeous and vintage and received much love throughout the years!
