Vintage Native American Papoose Cradleboard

Vintage Native American Indian Cradleboard Fur Papoose. A papoose was placed in pointed-end cradle-boards to prevent injury to the baby should the board ever fall off from the galloping horse. The papooses cradleboard was decorated to show the families significant place in the tribe. This Cradleboard is made with fur, leather, porcelain & feathers. Beautiful piece!
