Vintage Native American Navajo Silver Turquoise Cuff Bracelet.

Beautiful bracelet characteristic of Native American artistry, specifically from the Navajo tribe known for their silversmithing traditions. It is crafted from silver and features three prominent, oval-shaped turquoise stones. The turquoise exhibits natural variations in color, including matrix (the host rock visible within the stone), which adds to its character. The turquoise stones are set in smooth bezels and are framed by intricate silverwork, which includes twisted wire and hand-stamped details such as roping, triangles, and loops, a common element in Navajo jewelry. Era: Similar pieces are often categorized as "Mid Century". This bracelet represents a significant piece of Southwestern Native American jewelry, valued for its craftsmanship and the natural beauty of the turquoise stones. The setting is unmarked silver and has a quite detailed design with roping and stampings, triangles and loops.  The bracelet has 3 oval stones that I have been told are Blue Gem Turquoise. Blue Gem turquoise was mined near the Battle Mountain region of Nevada, USA, starting around 1934 and continuing until the 1970s. The mine is now depleted. The inner measurement is 5.5" and there is also a 1.5" gap. It is 1.55" at the widest point across the front.
