Vintage Native American Indian PAPAGO Lidded Basket

This beautiful lidded basket. It is a classic for the Tohono O'odham or Desert People who live in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona and Mexico. The materials are still gathered by hand and consist of beargrass and soaptree yucca, The overall piece has the beautiful split wheat design. Still has original tag on. Measures about: 5" wide 5" long 2.5" tall condition: used, over looks really good for its age
