Vintage National Naval Medical Center Bethesda 50th Anniversary Embroidered Snap Back Cap in green. The embroidery on the front shows the historical landmark tower and the motto "Caring is What We Do Best". The Base Realignment & Closure Act of 2005 (BRAC) closed both the NNMC Bethesda and the nearby Walter Reed Army Medical Center which led to the opening of the Joint Forces Water Reed Military Medical Center on 15 September 2011. The original Naval Medical Center tower depicted on the cap was designated a historical landmark in 1977. This is a rare find for all of you military collectors. Made in the USA.
