Vintage Nancy Ann Storybook Doll Going a Milking 1940 Era

Sweet Nancy Ann Going a Milking doll (#126). From the 1940's Storybook grouping. She wears a bright blue dress with red/white striped apron. Her pretty blonde curls host a lacy cap. She wears pantaloons. Her shoes are painted black. Our understanding is that this model is a later date using the 126 mold. She is marked on the back, but we could not read it. Included is a 1943/1944 pamphlet titled Nancy Ann Story Book Doll "Wee Dolls for Wee Collectors" Our information was gleaned from Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls 1936-1947 by Pardee and Robertson Size: 6" tall Condition: Good vintage--she was clearly used for display and not play, Curls remain in pretty good vintage condition. Outfit shows no stains or tears. Possible residue from sticky display use on bottom of feet. #71112b 11/2b
